Ah, I have that problem with my clothes cupboard. It feels like I'm always cleaning it. Oh well. Good to hear that your basement all cleaned up for rollerskating and crafting! Have fun!

Susan

Well...it HAS been awhile since you sent me a video clip...

:)

That's my summer project too but we don't have a basement so it's the whole house. My closet is the worst. Your book is really encouraging me to purge purge purge.

Also, saw where you are going to MO. It's beautiful up there. We go to Branson, MO at least twice a year for a quick getaway. Hope you guys enjoy!

You should feel great about cleaning the basement -- I can't seem to work up the energy for that (since I don't have to look at it all the time). But you are very inspiring!

Diane

Wow ... roller skating - now that brings back some memories! Like at my aunt's house. Her basement was so big and so clean we could ride our bikes down there! And the roller skating was too much fun! Those were the good old days ... and if I didn't live so far away I would love to visit your basement for some child-like fun! Enjoy!

I spent the day doing the same thing getting ready for next week's garage sale. I found a dead bat! AHHH! It was so terribly gross!

Linda

We don't have basements here in Texas. We are originally from NY and there are times I really miss my basement. You're right though, they do tend to be the recipients of everything we don't know what to do with.
And I agree with the analogy - my life can get rather cluttered as well.
Have a restful sunday and enjoy that tidy basement.

Aimee

Would love to - I don't know anyone who actually HAS a basement (we don't really have them in Oz)...but I'm too far away to pop over for a visit!! Thanks for your message re D.C. Any suggestions re. churches, Mums groups etc??

Thanks so much for this site, and for the encouragement... I am checking your blog instead of breaking down boxes in the basement right now! Okay, so I'll go downstairs... but not before letting you know that I just realized you live in Denver like me! We're south, though... in the Tech Center area. Anyway, I'm hoping to catch one of your speaking engagements sometime. Until then, thanks again and happy cleaning!
