That's so cool! Gabe is great about doing that with our girls. I don't think to ask them since I was here with them all day, but I should. I love to just sit back and listen to him interact with them though. And Nina's starting to put her two cents in--"Baah ma ma da da da aaaaahh!"

You got to reshelve books! I'm so jealous!

Such a great ritual. We do a similar thing except we start out by saying "Tell me something that happened to you today that we don't know about". Eating dinner together is such an important ritual for our family. A time for us to connect and share about our days.

Oh this is great! I've been trying to do this with our three-year-old, but don't get much. I'm going to keep it up though because I'm sure he'll surprise me with an awesome answer one day!
