Beth on stage at Living Proof Live in Albuquerque (can you tell we sat waaaaaay in the back?!)
All the gals and their bags (we filled them with water bottles, bookmarks, pens/pencils/highlighters, gum/candy/mints, a folio notebook, and lots of love!)
Saturday's lunch at Rudy's--AWESOME barbecue in Albuquerque and worth a visit if you're ever there (it's near Menual and Carlisle)
We went to Old Town Saturday afternoon. Southwestern art and jewelry isn't really me, but sitting on a patio and people watching while drinking a frosty margarita is definitely me--and Heidi too!
One of the gifts I put together for Heidi was this photo album (love those fabric bookcovers--so easy and fun!) from our days in junior high school. She doesn't have pictures from this time in our life, and I had such fun putting this together and journaling about all of our memories together.
So, to embrace humility like Beth taught, I'll go so far as to share a few pictures from the book.
I'm still a head taller than Heidi! All in all, I think we aged pretty well. (It's hard to go anywhere but up after junior high, don't you think?) That's my sister Kristen in the pictures with us--sorry Kristen, I randomly selected pictures and didn't know what would show up!
After a weekend like this, I really missed each one of these women today. I feel like I had a chance to connect with each one individually over the course of the weekend and am just amazed at how God has worked in all of our lives. Oh, he is good!
Looks like a wonderful, fun-filled weekend! How neat to be able to see your best friend from junior high again...the pictures from the photo album are great!

That looks like a lovely weekend. Isn't it great to be able to connect and spend much needed time with friends?

Won-der-fullll! I'm glad you had some girl-time. I bet it has filled you up with some more of that JOY!
Love in Him,
