I was substitute teaching once and took the 5th graders to art where they were making paper mache (sp?) masks. They had to put a little straw in their mouths to breathe through while their entire face (nose and mouth included) was covered in goo. Then you waited until it hardened. One girl panicked and couldn't do it, so I offered to "pose" for her mask. Oh my word. I about hyperventilated. It's like snorkelling, except with a teensy weensy straw, and you can't come up for air!!

I had a blog friend over today, too--our second visit.

Eep! That's one of my biggest nighmares, too!

I haven't met any online blog friends, but I went to an art festival this weekend and saw 3 girls who I knew from an indie business owner message board. So weird.

Invite me next time...I'll come up and see you both. I'm sick too...sore throat, stuffy and achy. Yuck! I have never knitted and would like to learn sometime. We used to have a play group in Marshall, TX, but it seemed that our kids tended to really find some trouble just as we were beginning a project.

'Wish I could go see Beth with you all! I am praying this moment for your time to be special with your friend and for God to bring a message just for you, sweet Joanne! I am going to the Women of Faith in Denver in Sept (?) and Beth is doing the Friday intensive session. I've gone to two of the WOF Friday sessions and have been blessed every time. Once I heard Becky Tirabassi and that taught me so much about prayer.
Have a great week! I hope you get to feeling better, Joanna. Off to bed I go...the theraflu is kicking in.

Hi Joanne,
I have bought your book, Living Simply, because well, I have been trying indeed to live a much simpler life. I have been enjoying it and learning and trying to de-clutter not only my house but my life! OK Just wanted to drop by and say hi, and thanks for sharing your experiences and the gifts our Lord has given you.
In Christ,
Gilda a.k.a. Xally

Dear Joanne,
I had so much fun!!! I wish we could get together all the time! I enjoyed a cup of my new tea last night. That was so thoughtful of you. Hope you are having a wonderful rest of the week and that your stuffiness goes away soon. Let's do it again soon!
Other ladies--go get her book. It's WONDERFUL! :)
