I received three white chairs while we lived in San Diego that someone was getting tossing out. They sat outside around the firepit for a while; one became a desk chair for Audrey; one is the chair I use downstairs now when I sew.
One got put by the front door this winter so guests would have a spot to sit and put on their boots before heading outside in the cold and snow. But it just wasn't very pretty...until now.
I made this cover/skirt for the chair last week (or was it the week before?) and never got around to sharing it. So here are way more pictures than you probably need to see! (The light is kind of weird in these...the ruffle and pillow are a sage-y color green in real life.)
(That's Daisy Mabel walking by.)
Here's what it looks like close up. When I finished, I decided it needed a little pillow to go with it too.
It ties on with big floppy bows.
And Joey likes it too!
Mmmmmm...I love white chairs. Especially free ones. I just bought a white wooden corner shelf at a garage sale for $3. LOVE it. ($3 is close to free!)

Love the fabulousness--and the way Daisy Mabel is making appearances lately. Too cute!
