Thanks for stopping by... and for offering writing encouragement! (My strategy: lots and lots of coffee)

I didn't realize you had a book on simplicity! I sooo need to be reminded of the need to live simply. (I loved Foster's Freedom of Simplicity & enjoyed Kim Thomas' book, also)

Hi Joanne,

I won your Living Simply book from a christian radio station. I love your book and I love your blog as well. Thank you for writing that book. It came at just the right time for me. Funny how God works! Also, just curious, what type of sewing machine do you have? I really want to learn to sew and I just bought a Viking Emerald 116. Do you know anything about it? Thanks.

I have a Mac. I have a pc. I like my Mac more than my pc. Since I've been around since computers were the size of my living room and learned first on a pc, I am way more adept at using my pc. But I want to get better at the Mac...except for me the learning curve is very s.t.e.e.p. And I have carpools to run, underwear to fold, food to cook...On "Mac learning days" the family gets ramen noodles for dinner and they wear their undies twice and walk home from school. Just kidding. Except about the ramen noodles. :)
