After going to Open Door church this morning, Toben and I headed over to the Biltmore for a poolside lunch. Perfectly lovely--except for the girl who had a butterfly tatooed across her tush. No joke--from what I could see of it (and that was more than I really wanted to see!) it must have covered her entire derriere. That had to have hurt.
Nope, no picture. There are some things people just don't need to see.
We're now sitting at the Phoenix airport, waiting for our flight to Denver. I love going home from a trip. No matter where I've been and how wonderful it was, coming home is my favorite part. I'm anxious to see the girls, to sleep in my own bed, to give Mom and Dad the treats I found at Trader Joes. (Yes, there's a TJs here in Phoenix--I made a special trip just for my favorite popsicles yesterday afternoon. Yum.)
You mean there is a Biltmore in AZ? I thought it was only in NC! I will have to google it and see :)
Enjoy your sleep in your very own bed!!

I love Malory Towers too! I've given my books off, though. Oh well. I'm determined to scout for those books after my exams. Can't wait for the 20th of November. That is when I will be free from all my work and can go scouting for books!
Looks like you had fun during your trip! That's nice!

Ah, I dream of the day I can visit a Trader Joe's. Some of my friends from California talk about it all the time. I'm green with envy!

Hi Joanne-
I really enjoyed your book, Living Simply. I'm rereading it again. I also love sweet stories. Thanks for recommending Betsy-Tacy. I'm on the second book. I just watched (again) You've Got Mail and Meg Ryan's character mentions the Betsy-Tacy books. I couldn't believe it. I wish I would have known about these books as a girl. Anyway, I taught lang.arts before my son was born and LOVE to read. He's now five and my only child.
From sunny Fl. your leaves look great. Of course, I decorate for fall too (Fake leaves, always. :-))
Take care and I enjoy your website.
