I *heart* mail

My email in box is FULL. My goal is to sit down tomorrow and respond to the email I've received the past few days. From friends, new blog readers and commenters, people who've read Living Simply and sent me the nicest letters. I love hearing from you and will get back to you soon--promise!

My real mailbox has been full too. Yesterday was a particularly great mail day. Fun stuff for me (bills go straight to Toben!). A lovely note from Shonda thanking me for the Beth Moore Bible study cover she won (she's going to be doing Stepping Up next too!), this notebook cover from Lisa, which I'm excited to use for my menu plans and grocery lists:

this necklace from Susan, which combines a menorah, the Star of David, and the icthus (I think that's how you spell it) fish, and a sheet explaining the symbol:

Hi Joanne,

I hope the talk went well today...sure it was impactful and God-breathed...

I love mail too...it is one of the 100 things that I wrote on my blog that I love...old fashioned snail mail and hey how much the better when there is goodies to boot...can I say how much I love the fabric...can't wait to see what you make.

And...I just order Living Simply and a few other books from Amazon this afternoon...so I guess I am creating my own mail...

I agree, receiving stuff in the mail (other can bills) is nice :)

Those are nice pieces of fabric you have there. Really looking forward to seeing what you use them to make! Knowing your ability, I'm sure it's going to be something great!
