We headed to the hospital to deliver each of our children between 12:30am and 2:00am. We were always astounded by the number of people on the roads. It was just like day time. There really IS life after dark! And I guess I kinda remember it from when I was young and partied a lot. :0

"There's a whole world out there after dark--but chances are it'll be a while before I see it again..." I agree! I usually see this when I'm out with my family till late. I'm usually home most of the time and I actually enjoy being at home and doing stuff such as crafting!

I am not much for being out after dark either. I do it pretty rarely. 8:30 is about it for me normally. Although today it is -17 degrees without the windchill factor, so I think we will be indoors even in the day light. I feel sorry for all the people who are going to the Packer and Giants game tonight and need to sit outside in this cold. Brrrr!

This post made me smile !!!
Chances are all these people were playing it European lifestyle ! LOL dinner time is around 8pm where I live... and I go to the pool 8.30/10.00pm every Friday... so, it could have been me driving ! ;) (but we don't have any snow though !)

I hear you about the whole after dark thing. I can't function. Dark = sleep in my world. I do much better during daylight savings time. I don't go to bed at 9pm. So don't worry Joanne your not the only one! :)

Sort of surreal, huh? Sometimes I wonder about the same kinds of things...then I remember, who I used to be. Perhaps a good percentage of those folks are living like I did.

I have re-defined fun now! It is being together with my family and sharing laughter over the silliest things.

Glad you made it home safely! Chris should be home by 7 or so :)
Love you, friend!

That is very funny. I do not like being out late myself.

I am rarely out after dark as well. A couple of weeks ago, we had a huge wind storm that knocked out power at our house for 36 hours. My mom had our girls, so we went out to dinner, and then had to go buy batteries and candles. We went to Walgreens at about 11pm on a Friday night. Who knew that was the place to be?? There were so many people there, many in their pj's, reading the gossip rags. I felt so sheltered!! :)
