My friend Jen left a comment asking about Easter traditions around our house...I'll blog about it in the next few days. It reminded me of the Q & A trend that I've seen going around blogland.
So...anything you want to know about? Ask away and I'll do my best to answer. And, remember, there's no such thing as a silly question!
Okay, Joanne, I'll go first. :)
If you had had boys instead of two girls, what boy names would you have chosen?
And one more--how/when did you learn to sew?

What would be one of you favorites places to visit and what sights would you have to go see? Also, who would you take? Finally, what souvenier (sp?) would you bring home?

Joanne,
How do you stay in such good shape and maintain your weight? Since you are such a great cook! I find this is always a battle for me - especially since I love to cook & bake.

Kim has asked a very important question! Thank you so much, Kim!
I have...2 questions!
1) What should every knitting/sewing/crocheting person have in her craft basket/kit?
2) What do you do when you have a day to yourself? As in, a day where your chores are all done and you're free to do anything you want. For example, knit and have tea? Something like that...
Please send my regards to your family =D
Waiting for your response on the blog!

Joanne,
What did you like/dislike about growing up in a military family?
My husband is in the Navy and we move often. My kids do ok with the changes, but I've always wanted to know a grown up perspective.
Thanks!
Sara

I am glad your get together went well. It looks like you all had a great time.
Since you asked............
Favorite Bible verse currently and as you have grown up. At different times in my journey I have focused on different verse's but I have always had a few that I have relied (maybe not the best word) on. Is that true for you?
Enjoy your weekend

What are the best and worst things about living in Colorado (I've always wondered if I'd love living there)?
Posted by: Megan | February 29, 2008 at 04:56 PM
Hey Joanne...I am glad that you people had fun.
I thought for two minutes and I had like 20 Questions that I want to ask you. But I will ask you just a simple one...who has been the biggest inspiration in your life. The reason I ask is that I am so so impressed by your outlook towards life that surely anyone who inspired you would be equally amazing.
P.S.: The other day I asked my husband to see you interview video on the Harvest Show. He was in awe of you two. You guys rock.
Touch wood.

I am so in awe of how you manage to find time for your sewing and other craft projects...what is your daily schedule like? How do you get 'it all done'?

When your girls where younger...did you have time for all for wonderful cafts/sewing etc.? (Please say no...I'll feel so much better!)

My first question was going to be about how you have SO much time to do everything... looks like someone "beat" me to the punch.
Secondly, what is your favorite recipe (I am always looking for good ones and the minestrone soup one you had was great)?

Thank you for visiting my blog! This is not a question, more so just a comment. I remember you commenting another time on my blog and when I went to your blogger profile I totally missed your link to your website! (Silly me!)
You are so beautiful! And so is your family!
I know a family who lives in Loveland, they are very dear to me because they lead me to the Lord, and a sister who lives in Denver. I love your state!
I absolutely love your little zippy's! I think I might order some soon, my little girl needs some because she is always carrying around little toys everywhere she goes!
Anyway, it was so nice to meet you, I hope you are feeling better soon. I am still in bed today and thank God our kids have a day off of school tomorrow, because that means another day of rest for me too! Gotta kick this thing out, and soon!

I thought of one more question for you! I certainly hope I'm not wearing out my welcome!
Does your family read your blog? By family I mean your husband, your parents, your sister, your in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc?

When and how did you become "The Simple Wife"? When did simplicity become something you crave, and how did you put it into action?
