Okay, since you asked...
The inspiration for the clipboards came from this magazine. The clipboards came from Office Max (or was it Office Depot? I can never remember!) and were totally cheap. Like $1.50 or something like that. The paper is stuck on with Mod Podge and then once dry, I coated it with another two or three coats, letting it dry completely between each coat.
That's it. I also covered the back with fun paper too. And I used legal-sized clipboards...just because.
What is Mod Podge and where do I get it--Wal-mart or a hobby store?
I am stil re-reading your words of encouragement to me...they are still blessing me 10 days later :) No word about the contract job--it may not be the best God has right now. So we wait and watch and pray.
Love you friend!!

I love these! I have been thinking about them since you posted the pictures. I think I might make them for our VBS leaders this summer as a thank you and something to keep thier group lists and such at hand. Thank you! It is snowing, windy and gross here so good timing to be away! Enjoy your time together.

How do you keep the pages smooth? My stuff all looks like I'm decoupaging little hills and valleys: lumpy. *sigh*

When I was at summer camp we used to make collage clipboards with cut out words and pictures from magazines. I still have 2 of them and it's fun to see what I thought was "cool" in 6th grade!
