I used to hate cats until we got Indiana Jones. He's my favorite pet by far. He is a snuggler and it is fine with me!

By the way...love the fabric flowers. So cute!

Excellent analogy! I have a pet like that, my grand dog Sasha. Just loves my quiet time and Bible study. It will be an added comfort to imagine the two of us (Sasha and me) sittin in Gods wonderfully big lap!

Have a great one girl!

I love that you are now a cat fan! They can be so very sweet...especially one's like Joey cat.

I miss you! I am so glad you got to see Janna and make pretty flowers.

Have a wonderful day!

The NON-Superwoman

Oh Joanne........what a lovely thought for the day. Come boldy and curl up in the Father's lap. I needed to hear this today :-) We didn't need the picture as your words were picture enough!

Amanda

How fun. Our cat Jinxie, sits all over me when I finally get some sit time. I love it.
I like the thought of just sitting in His lap... until I purr. Maybe I keep jumping up too quickly.
Heb 4:12... Hmmm... gonna have to write that one down and put it out to look at for a while. I have to mull over verses, they seem to stick better that way. Or, should I say marinate.
Hmmm. Marinate. Gotta go. I can feel a philisophical/ faith recharge nap break on its way.

Our cat is really a dog in cat's fur. He comes when we call him. He does tricks (our daughter...the animal trainer). He's a lap dog, er...cat. He "speaks" when you tell him to and when you talk to him. He sleeps curled up in our daughter's hair against the pillow and her back.

I have sooooo been curling up in the lap of my Heavenly Father. You don't even know!

Love you, girl.

Michelle

I love that! Great analogy!

Marla Taviano

I love you dearly, friend, but I don't think that I could ever, ever, ever love a cat.

With God all things are possible.

Great metaphor, or analogy... whichever!

I have a cat, Max, who likes to "help" me on the computer, too.

Blessings!

Jill

Thanks for the good analogy.
Wanna go curl up in His lap for a bit. :0)
Hmmmmm---Ahhhhh (Deep breath).
Have a good day.

Hey, Joanne! I have SO enjoyed your book! I read the chapter on friendship yesterday during my lunch hour. You are such a sweet friend and I know, mother! I hope you are well!
Much Love,
Angie xoxo

Gretchen

I'm not even a cat person, and I think I'm in love with yours.

Have a great weekend.

Bobbie

Makes me want to climb in His lap for awhile!
