So true...and something I needed to be reminded of this morning.

Misty

Ahhhhh..... thanks for the reminder! It has been a struggle with me, especially lately, with four little ones demanding "mommy, mommy, mommy!" sometimes I wonder "Quiet time, yeah right!"

I printed this quote from Nancy Leigh Demoss and put it on my frig: "It is impossible for me to be the woman God wants me to be apart from spending consistent time cultivating a relationship with Him in the Word and prayer."

Pat

I copied this and put it on The Heart Spa but I gave credit to you and a link to your blog post. If this is not okay, let me know and I will remove it immediately. I am not sure what is acceptible in bloggy world yet. Thanks for your words and your blog.

Mary

Thanks for that post Joanne. This quiet time in the morning before work is what I struggled with this week. It's so easy to think the struggle is exclusive to me. The encouragement to push to "do the daily thing" was encouraging.

Lori Anne

Joanne, that is so spot on! It seems that it should be obvious to us. I do know it in my head, but the way you wrote it spoke very clearly to me. Thank you.

Thanks for the reminder! I am in good company it seems :) I will re-commit to my daily time - I had gotten away from it making excuses that other things were necessary during that time. Nothing is as important as my relationship with my Father and I need to prioritize my life in that manner. Thank you for the encouragement!
