Last year I bought about a zillion little autumn leaf picks at Hobby Lobby when they went on super-duper clearance. They are by far my favorite autumn decorations, tucked here and there all over the house.
And I must say too that I love my sparkly "Give Thanks" garland that Paula gave me yesterday too!
The little fabric pumpkins are also fun and easy to make--but I ran out of real pumpkin stems for them. (Which is what helps make them so wonderful, I think.)
Now I'll just have to see if they have any real pumpkins when I head to the grocery store later. Darn, guess that means I'll have to get dressed today after all. Not sure that the grocery is quite ready for me to shop in my pjs.
I'm ready for pumpkins & mums myself. It's still in the 80's here, so I can't think about autumn yet, though. Love the ceramic pumpkin!
I thought of you Saturday when I stayed in PJs all day to clean. I will probably put them on as soon as I get home tonight...can't wait!

Joanne,
So wonderful to see fall.
I'm thinking your trees have already started changing?
Still toasty here in Hot-Lanta.
Send some of those fall winds this way, ya here?
love you,
tammy

I'm with Sarah. I need a Simple Wife Decorating Intervention, too. :) I've never made a cloth pumpkin that was completely round; just sorta flat ones to hang on doors. My daughter is sick today tho (just a cold), so I have to stay home, right? Stay home and craft, right?
It's fun to see new ideas.

Although I'm so ready for fall, the sign at the bank today said 101 degrees!!!
Yes, life is S. Ga. is hot and will be until mid-November!

I love Hobby Lobby, also. Didn't know about it until I moved to Texas. I also love fall...it's my favorite time of year.

I also love all the decorations for fall. I need to stop buying more. That said I just bought the "Give Thanks" garland the other day.

I love all of your autumn touches. I am completely intrigued with your tidy display... the square of pictures. HOW did you do that. I love simplicity and this is something that I must know how to do.
