A couple of you asked, and it was this version of P&P that we watched at Fall Fest last weekend. I hadn't seen this one yet, and I did love it!
And then on Sunday afternoon, the girls and I watched this version of Ballet Shoes. It was wonderful--we all loved it!
And tonight, this is what we're watching:
I'm sure we'll be thinking of Mom and Dad--I've heard that Lucille Ball's character collects rocks along the way--something my mom does too!
Love, love, LOVE that version of P&P. It's such a beautifully crafted movie. I have it on DVD, and just got the soundtrack.
I think I have Ballet Shoes in my Netflix Que.
We're going to watch "Goodbye Mr. Chips" this weekend, and possibly start the Nancy Drew 1st season (I just couldn't resist after seeing that you were watching it)

Lucy is one of my favorite actresses. I love her interaction with "Ethel" - especially in the tv show where they lived in the same building and were in and out of each other's apartment. My best friend and I refer to each other as Lucy (me) and Ethel (her) and dream of what it would be like to live that close to each other.
Blessings!

I'm such I die-hard A&E fan of P&P, I haven't seen this one yet!!! So, it is good? Gonna have to rent it then. The bellet shoes looks cute too. Hmmm. Sounds like some great Grandma-comes-for-a-whole-week-next-week-and-we-need-chick-flicks kinda of movie!!! Cool!

My mom collects rocks as she travels too! There were times I thought she might put us put of the car in order to have more room for rocks!
