Look what the UPS man brought last night:
I was asked to contribute to this devotional and I did and now it's here! Isn't it pretty? These are the gals of Moody's Midday Connection, a great radio show and a wonderful bunch of women. I've been on their program in the past, and the hour always flies by because it's so much fun.
This hardback daily devotional is filled with contributions from some amazing women--Carol Kent, Jill Briscoe, Shaunti Feldhahn, Lynne Hybels, Leslie Parrott, just to name a few. If you'd like to win a copy, leave a comment. I'll choose a winner next Friday, October 31.
If you want to buy one--or two--or five (Christmas IS coming and a devotional that begins January 1 would make a great gift) click on my Amazon bookshop over there ---> and you can order direct from Amazon.
Umm, I would LOVE to win! I love you website Joanne! When are you coming to visit Sarah and baby Tommy and all of us out here? I'd love to see you!

YAYAYAYAYYAY! Joanne!! I've heard this book being talked about on MidDay for a couple of weeks now and had no idea you were in it! I'm SO getting a copy now. One of the girls talked today about how some man thought it was a piece of pie on the cover instead of a pomegranate...lol

Just linked to your blog from Trying Traditional - excited to have found you. :) Read all of your recent posts, and will be adding you to my RSS Feed. I love seeing a woman who is so happy in the role God has placed her - greatly encourages me on the days my little ones (DD3yo, DD1yo, and watch a 1.5yo) are trying to break me. ;) As Gary Ezzo says, one day your child will wake up and decide 'this is it. Today I will break mom, or die trying.' (Ok so that's not an accurate quote, but it's the gist of what he's saying)
Anyways, thanks for the encouraging blog, and for the giveaway.
