Yum. That sounds & looks delicious. I love that you had it for kind of girls!!!

What a great cookbook! I've never seen that before - I read the books over and over again as a child, but I didn't know there was a cookbook!

Hi, I am commenting for the first time. I have enjoyed reading your blog for quite some time. I wanted to say thanks for your devotional thoughts, they have challenged me and have made me "wake-up" my lazy quiet times!

When I saw the Little House cookbook you got it reminded me of a Little House book my little girl and I got from the library, it was about the crafts they did. My daughter is 5 1/2 and absolutely loves to do crafts, and I do too. So it was fun for us to do some of the projects in the book. I also love baking, so I think we'll be looking for this cookbook on our next library trip!

I made an apple pie today...and just had a piece for dessert. I was wishing I had that cute blackbird of yours to put in the middle!

It is so nice to see the sacrifices you're willing to make in the name of protecting your family's palate. :)

I would've done the same thing.

Yummie! I love anything apple. I know you loved that cookbook! I posted an apple dish earlier in the week that you would like:)

Ooh that's nice!

I love baking pies, especially apple pies! And, I have a pie bird, too, that I found at an antique store a few years ago.

I'm going to be searching for that recipe book now!

Pumpkin recipes are posted on my blog. I'm all about pumpkin during this season.

My, that looks yummy!

I am in love with that cookbook. I must keep my eyes peeled in hopes of finding one. When did you introduce your daughters to Little House? I had a slight obsession with the books and then the show when I was a child. My daughter just turned 5. I think that she is ready... what do you think?

How beautiful of your friend! And you make some very yummy looking pie, too, Joanne.

Praying for you and your family.

I had an apple pie given to me last Sunday evening. I promptly sent Paul to the grocery store for some vanilla ice cream! I was SO blessed, because I don't have time these days to bake!

By the way, would you mind emailing me your address again...there is a certain thank-you card that I need to send;)

Oh. How. Wonderful!

I was telling my mom all about you today...

She didn't think it the slightest bit odd that we have never (yet) met in person and yet I was saying, "my friend, Joanne...."

What a wonderfully wacky world we live in!

Love ya.

That looks so good! I am going to have to look for that cookbook. I like that it has stories along with the recipes.

you lucky girl :) !
and what a yummy pie !
this book is from the same edition mine (the little house) are, and printed in the late 70ies/early 80ies in France.
