Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Joanne and I’ve been blogging for many years under the name The Simple Wife (you can see all of my old posts under the archives or by clicking on any of the categories that interest you). I love receiving comments from you and try to respond to each one personally. I hope you’ll visit often!
Do you ever look at your kids and it's like you're seeing them for the first time in a long time? Yesterday I looked at Emma and then had to take another look because it's like she grew up over night.
Wasn't she just a little girl?
(And, yes, it's very clear that God has blessed her with GOOD hair!)

She has BEAUTIFUL hair! My girl does, too. I have to say, He didn't do the same for me ;-)
Sooooo true. Remind me to tell you about Maddy and what she said to me last night while we were reading quietly. Not blog a blog worthy conversation due to sensitivity. And yes, when I saw Emma at pickup today...I thought "She's has awesome hair!" :-)
Such a beauty. That hair is going to cause some serious envy amongst her peers. Fortunately, one gets the impression her faith & spirit outshines the pretty 'do. :)
I told my husband the other night after my son walked up beside me at a school event, that I had "ignored" the "man" beside me until he spoke... it was my son. I had to look up into his eyes instead of the other way around. It's been this way for awhile but sometimes I "forget" and it catches me off guard!
How beautiful! And she could re-write that Christmas standard and sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two right teeth."
You are deeply and truly blessed!
