From memory:
Psalm 16
Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing."
As for the saints who are in the land,
they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
The sorrows of those will increase you run after other gods.
I will not pour out their libations of blood
or take up their names on my lips.
LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
you have made my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I have set the LORD always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
Therefore, my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices,
my body will also rest secure,
because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Okay, time to check it. I think I may have forgotten some of the punctuation and maybe some of the verse breaks. I'll put corrections in red.
Yep--I missed some punctuation and left out a whole verse! No wonder I wasn't counting 11 verses.
I think I'll keep working on it this morning and come back later to add it from memory again later.
I'm not sure what I want to memorize for next week. I'm thinking Mary's Song in Luke 1: 46-55. I'll let you know when I come back to try again on Psalm 16.
Did you do your Memory Monday? Leave a comment with your blog post address--and, as always, if you don't have a blog, leave your verse in the comments! (Seems like that's easier than the Mr. Linky thing.)
Good Monday Morning!
I have my verses all posted. I am excited!
You did really good. I hope I can do as well.
Thanks for this opportunity.

I am really enjoying this. I regret that the past week didn't allow me to finish due to some other obligations. But, nonetheless, I am going to finish last week's verse and have added this week's verse as well!!
I hope everyone has a great week with the Lord!

You did better than I did! Last week was such a bear that I never got around to trying to memorize it! I have been praying over it, though.
I'm going to try it again this week.

I just read about this on Kim's blog. I'm going to join you, but I haven't picked a verse yet. I'll pick one and then put my first post up next Monday. Great job to all the ladies who did it this past week!

Mine is up, too.
I am so glad you are leading us out on this. And (I feel) keeping me accountable!
Love ya, Girl.

Wow, you're definitely showing me up with these long passages you're picking. I need to step it up! (I need to start carrying flash cards around)

I am going to be posting mine to my blog after this.
I put my verse on a blank note card and put it in my purse and took it wherever I went. That helped me a lot. I do this for my daughter, so she can practice her weekly verse, so she thougth it was pretty neat I was doing it just like she does:) My verse this last week was Colossian 3:16,17.

Love this idea! The Tigers and Mt. Man and I are memorizing verses from their Sunday School class. This week we are doing Proverbs 1:7. Thanks for this idea! And Happy Thankgiving!

I have set the Lord before me, he is my right hand, I will not be shaken. I ran in college..that is what I would say during my warm up so as not to psyche myself out.
