Last night Mom and Dad came over and we went for a drive to look at some amazing Christmas lights we'd heard about. They didn't disappoint!
Here's the first house we saw. And got out of the car so we could see even closer.
I'm only sorry you can't hear Mrs. Claus singing. And don't forget to leave some cash to help pay their electric bill!
And this was just down the street! Note the twirling Barbie ballerinas performing for Santa and Mrs. Claus. And those trains run all over their yard--even up to the roof.
This house had stuffed animals, more Barbies, a full set of wooden reindeer, and even Elvis at Graceland. Oh, and a twirly box to leave some money and contribute to the electric bill too.
Both houses had this sign in the yard...
...which makes me wonder if they collaborate or if they are arch rivals who secretly hate each other and sneak over to throw the switches in their breaker boxes.
Here's what made me laugh out loud the most--in fact it took several tries to get the picture because I was having trouble holding the camera still--see, it's a little blurry even after three or four tries...
Jo-Bear, Mar-Bear, and the Baby Bear. Somehow I wonder if instead of the shepherds, they were visited by Goldilocks...
WOW! Okay, that's an impressive light display!! I always wonder if the neighbors are happy or totally upset when someone does this.... but to have two neighbors competing for the title of best display must send folks over the edge! :) Too cute....
