Holly B.

I'm memorizing verse 17 this week en français to teach at a Bible club on Saturday!

Holly @ Crownlaiddown

I memorized Philippians 1:1-2 and 2 Corinthians 12:9, and will try and post them on my blog during the kids' rest time today. Last day of break!

In case I do not, here they are:
"Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus in Philippi, together with the overssers and deacons: Grace and peace to you in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."

and

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

Thank you, Joanne, for beginning and restarting a good habit that my mind needs so much.

Love you!
Holly

Blessed New Year Joanne! My post is up!

I'm back!

I'm combining two "challenges" of sorts together so I don't get all overwhelmed. Some participation is better than none!

Thanks for hosting this and I wish you a very happy new year!

Wow---it's amazing how the verses you choose apply to your life...before you even really understand fully how poignantly! God is good!

Prayers for you on your first day of Seminary!! Those books look great. Can't wait to hear all about it. Loved catching up. I think I assumed you were on break. Best, CM

Blessings Joanne & other Monday Memory folks!

I wrote you a quick ? in an email but after coming and reading all you are doing, you have your hands full and I'll just pray for you. I have no post...I just got my internet service & laptop reconnected but I did do a verse and will be adding the preceding verse for next week. So I'm writing it here:
2 Corintios 2:15 (2 Corinthians 2:15)
Porque para Dios nosotros somos el aroma de Cristo entre los que se salvan y entre los que se pierden.

Which means..."For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are saved and those who are perishing" chosen from the book I read on New Year's Day..."I Dared to Call Him Father"

Mine was Psalm 142:7

Free my soul from prison so I can give you thanks. The righteous will surround me because you will deal bountifully with me.

Kelley

I am excited about doing this and adding this back into my life. Thank you all for th encouragement and inspiriation!

Sally

Thanks for the incentive to memorize verses - no matter how long it takes!
