I've seen these paper flowers from Martha Stewart at Michael's in the past, but when I saw them in Ava's room (my cutie patootie niece) I knew I needed to be a copycat. So we got some for Emma for her birthday and put them up this past weekend.
I love hanging stuff from the ceiling. Those 3M hooks are the bomb!
We also put up the darling chandelier that Aunt Kristen sent for her birthday.
Now we just need to replace her blue carpet with something neutral or even PINK! and add a better window treatment. I'd love to add some more bedding too--another comforter to layer and a bunch of super girl-y pillows.
But probably not until this summer.
Do you think my husband would complain if I hung those puffs in our bedroom? I really really really want some. I'd put them in my son's room but I think they'd clash with his Green Bay Packers wallpaper.

Cute! Do you think you can teach me this Saturday or give me the pattern to try at home??
Praying for your girls, their school and especially the teacher's family.

Those flowers are so pretty. I remember making something like that (but not as detailed) with my mum when we were kids. I think i'm gonna hunt down some tissue paper because we dont get Martha Stewart anything over here. Thanks for sharing and that chandalier is lovely too.

You have to tell us exactly how to do these! They are beautiful - and they don't look paper!

Beautiful. I need a GIRL! I am totally outnumbered. I could never imagine even stopping by and looking at something like that. What would I do with it? :)

I've been wanting to hang something from the ceiling of my kids' rooms for quite some time now. These will be perfect for my daughter's room - thanks for sharing! We are big fans of 3M Hooks at our house as well.

This is great. Reminds me of the pink makeover we did for my 4-year-old last fall: http://tanyadennisbooks.com/2008/10/23/growing-up-girly/
