Lovely tresses! The Olivia books are so much fun!

Love the hair!!! As I am typing this comment I see your tutorial on how to put your hair in a bun and I swear I was just thinking of googling this the other day. I love buns but don't like how I do them. I am going to try this method. My oldest is about to enter middle school too so I feel your pain :(

I thought I was going to miss out on all this fun hair stuff - with only a boy and a balding husband as my family. But Elijah has recently started to care about his hair style. I figure there's no NT scripture about it, so we let him pick it out - so long as he can keep it clean. Today we went and got the sides SHAVED with a mowawk stripe down the top and back. He's even got it spiked. He is enjoying it! Which is good, because I don't think I have the dexterity to braid like that!
But it is beautiful!

My Olivia loves the Olivia books too! I found some Olivia fabric when I was in Denver 3 years ago and made her a pillow out of it. She also had an Olivia birthday party 3 years ago -- complete with a cake that looked just like Olivia, Olivia plates, hats, etc.

Love the hair! Middle school?? My oldest is eight and I'm already wishing the teen years were over. :) They haven't even begun.

Olivia sweet. I remember sweet, irreverent Olivia.

Your oldest daughter's hair is so thick! Wow.
