Psalm 116:12-14
How can I repay the LORD
for all his goodness to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call upon the name of the LORD.
I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
in the presence of all his people.
Isn't it interesting that one of the ways we repay God for his goodness to us is to continue to call upon his name for more help?
For next week, I'm going to learn Psalm 119:45:
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
I have some thoughts on that, but need to get my Monday morning going here. I didn't open my computer at all yesterday and the little email envelope is staring me in the face. And I need to print out our calendars for the week so I know what's going on around here and what to take out of the freezer for dinner.
Don't forget to leave a link to your post! (If you want to join in, click on the Memory Monday button in the sidebar and you'll find all the information you need. We'd love to have you!)
Yes, it is interesting and isn't it also incredible that when we do, we find that his mercies are endless and unfailing? Thanks for my Monday morning inspiration!!

I love that observation. I'm glad He likes to be repaid that way... I'm not likely to stop calling out for help any time soon!
This is my first week joining in. Thanks for hosting this meme!

Joined you today. Love the concept that calling on God 'repays' Him for His goodness & fills my cup at the same time. We serve such a personal God who loves us individually.
This week's passage for me: http://nutmeg92.blogspot.com/2009/03/memory-monday-1-corinthians-126-31.html

it's true what you say. even in everyday life, the biggest thanks for help we can give eachother is to ask for more support.
