We're studying Hebrew poetry in my biblical interpretation class. So I've got poetry on the brain.
Thursday morning, dark
Here comes a day to study
Midterm tomorrow
Or how about this one?
Coffee, milky tan
Mug warming my hands, don't spill!
First sip is the best
Or this one?
Quiet time is peace
Praying, reading, journaling
Starting the day calm
And one more...
If I don't stop this
I will go to school stinky OR The girls won't have lunch today
Must take a shower! OR Sandwich making time
And, no, I don't think there's such a thing as Hebrew haiku in the Bible, but this was all I could come up with this early in the morning!
And in the words of Winnie the Pooh, "A very happy Thursday to you!"
(Did ya notice the rhyme? Totally unplanned!)
Yay! I LOVE Winnie the Pooh!
This morning woke up
Praying for you, my dear friend!
Asking God to help.
My prayer Haiku for you, which rhymes, too!

What's the old children's ditty?....
You're a poet, and you don't know it?
So, there you have it.
