Know that that is? I mentioned here that I had an idea for decorating the space above our bed. And it totally worked. And cost less than $10. Maybe less than $6.
Scrapbook paper and glue dots. (But the glue dots didn't want to hold too well, so I added a little washable glue stick.)
Ta da!
Oops. Should have fluffed the pillows before I took the picture and included more of the patchwork quilt on the bed. And waited until daylight, but you get the idea.
I'm not super crazy about the diagonal squares, but I eyeballed the whole thing and thought the space in the middle was too wide and this helps fill it in.
I sort of have a vision for wallpapering the entire room like this, but I'll restrain myself.
Very creative... If you decide to take the diagonal down, I think that the space in the middle is kind-of cool. I am impressed... that is thinking girl!

You're a truly crafty lady! I LOVE the paper and actually, I like the diagonal paper, it ties it together! What a great idea...lovin' it! (You could add fun pictures of your adventures in AZ as you go through this next year and when you're ready to move home, take the pages down, and put them in a Scrapbook!)
I can tell you're going to enjoy this year with every fiber of your being!! Colorado will still be there, and you and your girls, (Toben, too!)will be richer people with many new adventures under your belt.
Enjoy!!!Bobbie

What a great idea! I'm a paper crafter (rubber stamping and scrapbooking), so I have a LOT of that patterned paper, but I never thought of decorating with it! I also love the diagonal pieces!

I love scrapbook paper there are so many incredibly lovely ones...in fact I framed two different papers and Michael's has frames the fit perfectly so it is very affordable!
