I shop at one store across town once a month for all my bulk foods & meats. I hit Target once or twice a month for sundries and random things. I go to the farm up the road every week or so for my produce. Otherwise, I try to stay out of the stores!

seriously joanne. hours of Anne of Green Gables.and maybe some chocolate.

I typically hit Walmart a couple times a month to get groceries that are always cheaper there. I look at the weekly sales for the three grocery stores that are very close to my house and go to them about once a week, if they have something I use for a good deal.

It does take time to go to all the different stores, but right now I have more time than money, so it works! And it kills me to spend even a few more cents on something, knowing I can get it cheaper close by.

I do the price comparison at I collect all the sale ads(that come in the mail)...and get the leader prices at Wal-mart. Takes some planning but my Wal-mart is good. I also do the grocery game...last week I went to CVS and only paid $.22 for two sacks of stuff. Thought of your tote at the library today...can't wait til my kids can carry their own load of books!

At a different season of my life, I did drive to at least 2 different stores to catch the great sales. But with 3 kids, college and too much else to name, I just usually hit Walmart or a nearby store that has lots of good "buy one get one free" sales.

Hey girl, Not posting about this entry; checking in on a homeschooling mama. We are only doing kindergarten and I only have one child. We are between 2-3.5 hours a day. Doesn't include long lunch break where we ride bikes. Somedays we school in the am and sometimes when Ben naps. I think it takes longer with 2 kids. Most my friends around 5 hours with their older ones. We don't clean, we pick up. So far I love it. Made my basement into a school room. Works great because then I have less to clean upstairs. Keep it up! Lauren and I just finished her first chapter Anne of Green Gables book. Now we need to get another and a movie.

I try and shop once a week at winco and once a week at target. I have 2 in diapers so I need that weekly target trip[ :)

Just found your blog and I love it!
