So here's your list:
Frozen chicken breasts
Big thing of salsa
Cook together in the crockpot, shred chicken meat and drain if too soupy.
Corn tortillas
Heat skillet and cook tortillas on both sides until browned and a little crisp.
Avocados, sliced
Limes, quartered
Radishes, sliced
Cilantro, washed and cut
Red/purple onion, sliced into strips
Crumbled feta, optional
Kosher salt, for sprinkling over tacos
Set these ingredients out for people to add to their tacos according to their preference.
Tortilla chips
Salsa for chip dipping
love your new haircut....oh, and now I am hungry for tacos, which is nothing new for me.

I add some lime juice, chili powder and corn to mine to give it a bit more flavor and bulk. They are definitely a favorite around here and were a hit at a 4 year old birthday party last summer!

Having moved often in our married life, I can attest that you are spot on in your advice to jump in and not wait to be welcomed or invited. Makes all the difference in the world. (Wish I would have known that earlier on!)
I make a similar dish (you've seen it on my blog) - chicken, salsa, corn and black beans all cooked together in a crockpot and served over rice. Easy peasy! I'm going to try your sangria. Sounds delicious!
Hope you had a blast last night!

We do this all of the time, too! It is a favorite of our family, but I also love to serve it to guests because it is a stress-free, fool-proof, fun meal that almost everybody likes.
Hope the party was just too fun!

That's one of my family's favorite recipes! We usually just have them with flour tortillas, but the corn tortillas sound yummy...I'll have to try that. Do you just heat them on a dry skillet?
Love your advice about taking the initiative to make friends. My husband and I need to do that more.

Watched it more because I miss you than to find out how to make the chicken tacos; however, they DO sound yummy!!
Just got my book--woohoo!!
Fall is just not the same without Joanne. Love you and am so thankful for you and your family!!

Just ran into your blog, and I love it!

I was just wondering if you have lots of "last minute" prep to do, in heating the corn tortillas. Or do you heat them all, then keep them warm somehow?

Since I first saw this recipe posted on your blog - I have made it and it has become one of my favorites - mostly because it could not get any easier!!!
Love the video!

We make this same dish when we have a crowd over! We use the flour tortillas, will have to try your corn suggestion. I like the sides you offer to go with yours too.
