Actually, having to type in the verification code doesn't bother me at all. If it helps to keep spam off your blog, I'd definitely have it on there!

How's your day going today? I hope it's much better for you!

Take care,
Karen

Ditto...I took it off and put it back on...got a lot of strange stuff. The verification codes can be downright funny...so I figure it's another reason to smile while you type, right?

IDOKLady

I have it on both of mine so I definitely do not mind typing it in here. Hope you have a SON shiny day!

I don't mind typing the code. I use Blogger, and do use comment moderation. I kept getting spam comments, so I like the moderation part of it.

i only get spam a few times a year and then only on my public posts. you don't have to type in a verification thingy to make a comment, but you do have to be a member of multiply -- which helps cut down on the spam considerably, plus you get the bonus of knowing who stopped by to read your blog, even if they didn't comment. and the other folks get notifications of new posts and new replies on posts (even if they haven't added a reply themselves).

Nikki

Don't mind it a bit. :)

Don't mind at all... I get spam on my blog and need to implement the verification thing... one more "to-do" for the list :)

Susan

I don't mind typing a verification thingy.

Guess what CD arrived today? I CAN'T WAIT TO LISTEN TO IT!!!

I get a few spam messages now and again. Though the rate seems to be increasing. I may have to turn on the word verification thing too.

But I like not having it. On the other hand, we're all pretty used to it by now.
