Working on Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Rocky finish to 2009 and start of 2010 with my Mother's health, and this is a promise I am clinging to.

I haven't done this for a while and it feels good to be doing it again. Here's what I'm doing this week. Hope you're having a great start to the new year!

Sallye: I love all the "I wills" in the verse you're learning!

AnneMarie: Awww...

Tammy: An undivided heart. That's my favorite part of the passage you're learning.

I love getting your comments!

Lisa notes...

That's great that you've about finished Psalm 19. Quite an accomplishment!

We've been taking a break, too, but are starting back this week on Roman 14:7-8:

"For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's."

These verses comfort me (that I am the Lord's!), yet challenge me at the same time, that my life belongs to HIM, not me.

Totally off the subject, but how do you like your Ektorp sofa now that you've had it a few months? I'm considering the L version for our next BIG purchase. Thanks. :)

We like it. My one complaint is that its not very deep, but Ikea sofas are all smaller as a general rule.

My friend has the L sofa and loves it!
