After working on Psalm 19 three or four verses at a time (and then NOT working on it for the past few weeks while our school schedule has been up and down and here and there), this is the week we finish Psalm 19.
I'm excited to get back to it. Next week, the girls and I will recite the whole thing!
These are Emma's verse cards (and that's my striped couch). Each week I type out our verse and then the girls customize their card--changing color and font. Then we get them laminated and add them to their rings. Waterproof, bend-proof, all kept in one handy-dandy place.
What are you memorizing this week? Leave a link in the comments below. And if you've not joined Memory Monday before, you know the first Monday of a new year is a great time to start something new! (For more Memory Monday information, click on the button in the sidebar over there on the right. It'll give the whole scoop.)
Which reminds me... For those of you who've been doing this from the beginning, we've been memorizing Scripture together for more than a year! How cool is that?
Working on Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Rocky finish to 2009 and start of 2010 with my Mother's health, and this is a promise I am clinging to.

Sallye: I love all the "I wills" in the verse you're learning!
AnneMarie: Awww...
Tammy: An undivided heart. That's my favorite part of the passage you're learning.
I love getting your comments!

That's great that you've about finished Psalm 19. Quite an accomplishment!
We've been taking a break, too, but are starting back this week on Roman 14:7-8:
"For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's."
These verses comfort me (that I am the Lord's!), yet challenge me at the same time, that my life belongs to HIM, not me.

Totally off the subject, but how do you like your Ektorp sofa now that you've had it a few months? I'm considering the L version for our next BIG purchase. Thanks. :)

We like it. My one complaint is that its not very deep, but Ikea sofas are all smaller as a general rule.
My friend has the L sofa and loves it!
