Our cats are the exact same way. 5:30 a.m. every morning and they are pacing all around me in the bed meowing.

i think our cat can tell time, too. every morning a few minutes before six the cat would come in and wake me up. i thought it was funny that it was always a few minutes before my alarm went off. but then i checked the time on my clock recently and found it was behind by a few minutes. so it turns out the cat was waking me up at 6 when i was supposed to be getting up and my alarm was the one that was off by a few minutes.

Mine too! I usually get up at 5:30 and often, during the week, don't get to bed until about 11:00. Not enough sleep for me. So, recently, I decided that on Saturday's, if I didn't have somewhere I needed to be, I would wake up when my body was ready. Well, I may have stayed in bed until 8:45 but I've had cats walking on me, playing on my bed, sticking cold nosed on my face, licking my hair, etc... since about 5:30. I think I need to give my boys cat duty on Saturday mornings since at least one of them wakes at 7:00, no matter what.

Our cat, too. And if it's the weekend...Tux, the cat, may find himself in flight off the bed. Not by his own means, either...
