For Bible study this week, we're learning Psalm 23:1-3a. We added "he restores my soul" to the end of verse two on purpose--in the NIV it's all one sentence.
Along with everyone else in Bible study, I'm doing the homework on this study I'm teaching. Memorizing verses that I'm spending so much time and energy studying is fun. For one, it makes memorizing them that much easier when I'm looking at them all the time. And for another, there's so much depth and meaning there when I've studied them like crazy!
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
Just have to say once more that I'm loving the Scripture Typer--I'm especially liking that it prompts me to go back and review previously memorized verses, keeping them fresh in my mind.
What are you learning this week?
Got it this week :) http://katecanady.blogspot.com/2010/04/memory-monday.html
