I'm feeling homesick. I miss Colorado, my parents, my sister and her family, friends there, summer at our neighborhood pool, our house, the yard full of green grass, the big trees and the girls' swings hanging from them, flower beds filled with impatiens, my garden overflowing with way too many zucchini, the craft room in the basement.
Sometimes I just want to go home.
Yes, I'm home here. But I'm home there too. Yes, I'm lucky to have two places I feel at home. But some days it just feels like being pulled in two.
Joanne where at in Colorado are you from? My husband and I plan to move there and one thing that holds me back is that I LOVE Mission so much. Any recommendations on churches there? Colorado Springs/Castle Rock area?

Praying for you, friend! I can see how an Arizona transplant would miss Colorado. :) That probably didn't help, huh.

I'm extremely homesick, but have no where to go back to. I think at this time of the year (similar to Christmas maybe) we miss the traditions more. The time we got to spend doing the same things every summer. Now we must find new things to do in a new place. I have been weepy all week about missing our "old" home and everyone around it. I'll pray for you, if you pray for me!
