We're memorizing through verse 11 this week. Lots of conversations about discipline and consequences as a result. Talking about how discipline and consequences can be good or bad--depending on the choices we make. So we've been talking about thinking through our choices to determine what the consequences might be before we decide what to do and how to do it.

My verse of the week is:
"Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life."
Proverbs 4:23
My post is here:

This verse is one that helps me value the importance of memorization, too, because memorizing is one way to "keep the heart with all vigilance."
Have a great week, Joanne!

I'm learning about having a heart that is obedient and believes God's promises. My scripture is Hebrews 3:12-13.

I'm going back to the post from last week and now working on 1 John 4:1-6!
Thanks for the accountability of Memory Monday! It's like a fresh start each week to the discipline of memorizing Scripture.

Hi,
I just began following you. I am going to try and memorize the verses from Hebrews this week. Not making promises. I am going to put your badge on my other blog.
