miss chris

This is clearly something I need to check out. Thanks for the heads-up, Joanne.xo

There is also a beautiful children's edition--

Okay...I know this will sound crazy, but my 6 yr old LOVES this book. We read it last year in our homeschool as a read aloud during breakfast. It was amazing and she SO got the allegory. I remember one part that was so moving to me I started to cry and could barely read. I looked up at Aly and she was staring at me across the table with tears running down her cheeks. She said, "Don't stop now Mom...this is beautiful!!!" I MUST get the sequel!!

French Paws

I have all of these books and I love them...I thought I was the only one lol. So great to hear of someone else in this huge, gigantor world that understands how truely deep these little gems are. I appreciated this post so much, thank you.

My copy of this book looks like your copy. Words are circled...notes on the margins and many sentences underlined. I thought I was unique in my marking up books. My boys and I are reading Hinds Feet right now and it really is reading like a devotional. We talk about the Good Shepherd and our enemies as well...enemies from within and those in our lives. We talk about sorrow and suffering too..and how we will not escape this in our own lives. What a wonderful book! Thanks for sharing...I will enjoy exploring your website!
