Last week we began learning Philippians 2:5-11:
Every time I begin, I get stuck--not because I don't know the verses by heart, but because I'm overwhelmed with the fact that my attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Talk about a serious attitude adjustment.
How would my life be different if that were true? How would my family be different if we all made this our practice? How might the world be changed if as his people, we all had the same attitude that Christ has?
This week we're adding the next couple of verses:
What about you? Would you consider joining us? Pick a verse to memorize and leave a comment!
How do you decide what to memorize? It must be a personality quirk of mine, but I have trouble deciding and sticking with a verse I've chosen. I see others I want to memorize and then jump around, not properly learning anything. I'd love to know how you decide. May be I just need to adjust my thought process.

I just picked up a book put out by Love Inspired Suspense called My Deadly Valentine. When I opened the book up, I found a neat scripture. Psalms 34:4 - I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. This fit my life perfect. So I decided that was the one for me. It is amazing how the Lord will drop a scripture into your life just when you need it.
