Yes indeed...they are God's angels sent to aid you, friend. I am so proud of you for doing this very hard thing and not throwing away your confidence. He is doing the work, friend. You need only be still and stay in the yoke. Love you!!

Great to hear from you Joanne! Praying for you continually- you are such an encouragement to me! Hugs, from Wales!

I love it... you continue to be in my thoughts. I'm so proud of your progress!

Hello Joanne,
It is so nice to read a message from you! You are one very strong lady and I love being able to pray for you and see you gain ground.

Always keeping you in my prayers,

I really need to read that book! Loved hearing from you this morning my friend. Continually praying for you and that left side! =)

Precious Joanne, what a precious blessing to hear your words on your blog! Continuing to pray for you!

I love that book it is a powerful testimony of God's provision for us in the midst of our healing. I am glad you have Strenght and Balance to walk alongside you on your journey. You are an inspiration to many.

Way to go Joanne!!! Your on a long journey but you keep putting one foot in front of the other....and one day you will be so far down the road of where you are now.......that you will be amazed!

God bless.

The verse that tittle is based on got me through my months of physical therapy after my stroke! Stand firm :0) I'm praying that your AFO does its job and is comfortable for you. I often just have to stop and say "Thank you, God" on the days I'm most frustrated with my walking because at least I can walk with my AFO. Keep your smile on!

So happy to read a post from you! Thinking & praying for you always...

lol Sometimes I like to walk with "unaware" and "clueless" for less stress in my life, but I dont think they were mentioned in that book...

and have you thought about changing the name of your blog? A "simple wife" doesnt seem to fit you anymore lol and I mean that in a good way :)

yay recovery mode! Wishing you healthy happy days to come!

I read that book based on your recommendation last year...fantastic! Love to you.

So good to read a post from you Joanne. Praying for you sweet friend!
I remember a previous post about that book and I now have that in my collection and I love it.
Much love and healing!

One of my fav books of all time! Understanding that God makes our pain purposeful is one of the mysteries of our Christian walk. "Perfected through the things He suffered" (Hebrews) is a verse to meditate on for life!
Precious sister, your voice here brings us joy!

Joanne, that is such a powerful book. It's good to hear from you on here. I am continuing to pray for you and your family, and in agreement with you in Jesus' name for continued strength and balance.

Fantastic message!

Eveline from the Netherlands!

So good to hear a post from you.
Praying for you and your family

Much love

Praying for you. I have a friend who, at 50 suffered a stroke, and doesn't know the Lord. Physically, he and you are very much in the same place. But, because of Christ, you are already healed while my friend suffers.

It is so good to "see" you here! What amazing strength God is giving you! I can't wait to see what all He continues to do. What a blessing to feel His angels around you (supernaturally)..and through His people that love you... Keep doing the hard work!

So great to hear from you this morning, Joanne! I am groggy because my body clock (and my heart) are still in Colorado. What a gorgeous state you live in!

I continue to pray for you and can't wait to meet and hug you some day. Thank you for the reminder to go dust that book off and read!

You would be very welcome.

We have all had strokes, know what we are going through and cheer each other on every day :) Just a thought.

Much love.

So thankful for your post this morning! Just reminds me again how great our God is and that nothing is to difficult for/with Him! I also survived a stroke almost 2 years ago. I know the difficulties. Stay strong you are not alone. I will continue to pray for you!

Hi Joanne - so wonderful to have a post from you here again! LOVE that book (I also bought and read it on your recommendation), and have been wondering for awhile if you had read it lately, as I know you reread the books you love. What an amazing parable. Keep up the good, hard work! You continue to be an inspiration - a living, breathing miracle. Love, Pam

Love this! I feel the same way about my sweet poochie =) So glad your kitties are such boon companions - gifts from God, those pets!

So glad to see you posting again. You are a miracle. God has truly worked in your life. I pray he continues to do even more in you life. Thank you for openly sharing your journey with us. It is truly inspiring.

So glad your back if only for a few min. You lift me high knowing how hard of time you have had. Sweet Aug. 2011 to you and your family. Love and Hope for you from Maine. Rena

So good to see you posting again Joanne. I miss your posts! Still thinking of you and your family and still praying like crazy for you!
As for the book, I will have to read it.

Seaweed & Raine

I have not heard of that book - but you are right, God's angels do watch out for us, and interact with us, more than we realise at times.
Continuing to pray for you and your left side :)
