Ryan told me this story to other day about a father that deeply wounded his son with hurtful words. It was a great reminded to me that I need to be very, very careful about what I say to Audrey and Emma. To read the whole story, click here.

Kind of sad you removed the last post, especially if you did it because you felt it was in line with standing up and shouting, YOU STINK in front of everyone. I sure didn't feel that what you shared was hurtful to your girls. What I felt you shared was reality of parenting. And, I for one, love a little truth from Christians now and then. It isn't all easy or simple. We struggle. Hope people didn't tear you apart for being real. I can tell you are a great dad who loves his girls more than life. Just wanted you to know that.

Every parent has to make a decision - sometimes we get it right and sometimes we don't. Unless you're God - you're going to miss the mark on some days. That's what grace is all about.

You looked so fine, and your wonderful clogs only added to the perfection; I wish every one of your readers could have seen how great you looked!
