Toben, your girls are so blessed to have a Daddy that loves and cares for their entire being. So many dads simply don't "get" that.

It is normal for a parent to "blow" it . . . even on a daily basis. No one is perfect, not even a parent. It is good for our children to hear . . . "I messed up" when we falter. They also need to hear praises and "I am sorry" too.

You totally hit the nail on the head too! We can learn from our children each and every day. I am thankful for that reminder this morning.
You brought up a great point -

This is so beautiful. A tribute to your daughters, and so wonderfully written. I love the heart of it and it reminds me so much of what 'I have missed'. Not ever knowing a fathers love, (other than God).

Your girls are blessed to have a dad who is so present. I think it's one of my husband's greatest gifts to my son as well. Living with a brain injury, and staying home with my 3 year old, means that my child sees the full spectrum of my abilities: from good days when we can go out and do an activity, to bad days when I stay in bed and take all the cuddles he'll offer me. My prayer is that he learns compassion from my disability, and I know that he's learning to love unconditionally as he sees his daddy care for me.

Toben...Jesus gave you daughters for a specific reason. I'm so thankful that they have you as a father. My husband is father to two girls and he doesn't take it lightly either.

Prayers for you all Toben..you are a blessing to those 2 daughters.

I don’t have a good relationship with my father. I hate him ever since! I don’t like the way he talks and the way he does all the things. I just hate him. Simple! He is a good father, I think. Maybe there are just reasons why I don’t like him.
