I was thinking the other day about my New Years resolutions from back in January and realized that I have kept them all. Not by my own power. It's really been a gift from God I think. Why? Because I can't control these resolutions. So what were they?
1. No needles of any kind.
2. No ambulance rides.
3. No surgery.
4. No hospital stays.
5. No 911 calls.
So far so good. Add I even had very few doctors appointments this year!
Joanne
Yay for keeping those resolutions, Joanne! And with God's mercy and grace you can finish off the last month of the year the same as the rest. You and yours remain in my prayers!

One of the words I had to type was "Eucharist." Do you have Christian Captcha?? ;) Anyway, so fitting. THANKFUL for you!!

Bless you Joanne and may these resolutions continue to be a trend.

Hi! I have a question--I was cleaning up my blog and deleted my sidebar. I thought I had pasted stuff to be able to add back, but I don't have the code to make your picture button thingy to send people over here. It's been requested that I put it back and I WANT to, but don't know how to do the code. Help!

I had to smile at Marla's comment--I got the word "pious" on the captcha thing.

The thingy to post a comment on today's post isn't working so I went back one post. I did miss my daughter when she was at school -- and now that I'm an empty-nester, I really miss her! I use her old bedroom as an office/craft room. The only thing to indicate that she grew up in this room are some plastic stars tacked on the ceiling. It's strange that all the arguments when she was a teenager about curfew, friends, boyfriends, etc. have all faded into the mists of time. I can even laugh about her purple hair and facial piercing stage, which thankfully didn't last long. The tattoo she got on her 18th birthday still isn't funny, but at least no one will see it. I hope.
We had pajama days and they were wonderful. Usually it was when school was closed for inclement weather. We'd make pizza or cookies and sit around watching movies.
I too love my Kindle and it goes everywhere with me. My bookshelves are cleared of most classics since I can download them for free.
Glad you are all doing well.
