One of my big goals for 2016 was to start driving again. To be honest, it felt a bit out of reach. I do know a bunch of stroke survivors who drive, but it still felt unlikely to me.
How good is God, though? Nothing is impossible with him and he has demonstrated that to me again and again in the past almost six years since my stroke.
Yesterday afternoon, we all went to the DMV in Parker for my 2:20 appointment to take a driving test. The office was running a bit behind and the road test took less than 15 minutes, but within about an hour of getting there, I passed the test and now have a temporary driver's license in my wallet. The permanent one should arrive in the mail in a week or two.
Thanks to all of you who left such kind congratulations on Facebook!
So happy for you Joann. The Lord is so good, and continues to restore what the locust has eaten.
Merry Christmas!

It's been a long while since I've read your blog, so I'm glad to catch up here today. (I used to do Memory Mondays! That's been ages ago. ha) It looks like you've been through a lot of life changes after the stroke, but that you are continuing to move forward. That makes me smile. Congratulations on getting your license! May you have a wonderful Christmas.
